Hello! I am Sherry Fong!
As a proud American, I originally came from Taiwan and had immigrated to the States about four years ago. Ever since childhood, I’ve been an avid drawer and keen observer for everything aesthetic, from everyday fashion to advertising print campaigns in glossy magazines. With such passion and natural affinity to art and design, there’s no doubt when I went with Advertising and Public Relations as a bachelor’s degree major back in Taiwan.
During the completion of my degree, I’d developed and garnered skill sets that are necessary for marketing excellence, which in turn go hand in hand with many of my current projects for WEB and GRAPHIC DESIGN, the ultimate pursuit of my lifelong passion. As I’ve later discovered that DESIGN is in fact my very own life calling, and there’s literally no way around it in terms of career choice, I put myself through Art Institute Orange County with a specialization in Web Design, from which I’ve gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and skills in the relevant fields of professional design.
Now, I am not only a proud American, but also a proud web and graphic designer who’s passionate about the process of designing and constructing for web interfaces and marketing materials such as logo, poster, brochure, and so on.
Design style
Undoubtedly, the thing that’s often of the utmost importance during any creative process of mine is to lend a tentative ear to client needs and wants. With that close attention paid, I’m able to come up with designs that’d capsulate complex conceptions into clean, sleek imageries and styled layout. Besides, one of my favorite styles of design entails the detailed sketching that are authentically hand-drawn and would be perfect adornment to the project context at hand.
